Speak Up! - Ask a question |
We know that you probably have questions about how the law and our
justice system works. Here's your chance to Speak Up! Submit your
question below and we will make every effort to provide an answer.
Speak Up! questions are answered by volunteer lawyers, based on their
experience and knowledge of the law, citing the actual law or "Statute"
in most answers. All Speak Up! questions submitted are reviewed by the
website editor and are then forwarded to volunteer lawyers for response.
A response usually takes 2 days, but can take up to two weeks. You can
check the status of a question on the
Speak Up! status page.
Before you ask a question, see if your question has already been
answered by searching all of the Q & A answers
posted to this site.
REMINDER: Sometimes we receive
questions that are not law-related or that are outside the scope of
the Law for Kids website. In these
instances, we will not be able to provide you with an answer. Remember
that you can still check at the library or ask your teachers your
questions.
If you have urgent need for legal advice, please consult a trained
legal professional. You can search the
State Bar of Arizona Member Finder
for the names and contact information of Arizona attorneys.
If you have an urgent need for someone to talk with, there are many
1-800 hotline numbers listed in the 1-800 help section of
LawForKids.org. If you feel you are in personal danger, call 911
immediately!
